This year, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is asking for your support in our campaign for a Dementia-Inclusive Ireland in Budget 2027. We need local voices to urge TDs to invest in community-based services and build a more dementia-friendly Ireland.
Launching on 24 June and running to Budget Day in early October, the campaign calls on the public to contact their TDs and support increased funding for day care centres, Dementia Advisers, ASI’s Day Care at Home service, and ring-fenced home care hours.
We are also highlighting the need to fund activity groups for people with younger-onset dementia and to expand access to dementia-specific home care. To see our list of requirements, please go to Budget 2027: Building a dementia inclusive Ireland. Thank you
